As a small business, Veritay Technology Inc. has the size to respond rapidly to the customers needs, the motivation to get the job done quickly, and the technical ability to get the job done right -- all at a price that makes outsourcing to Veritay an attractive option.
Specializing in gun and ammunition RDT&E since its formation in 1983, Veritay Technology Inc. has developed a wide variety of facilities and capabilities in support of ordnance-related programs such as experimental ammunition development, consolidated charge design and production, barrel wear abatement and ballistic testing.
Our facility is located in East Amherst, New York, about ten miles from the Buffalo International Airport and about six miles from the State University of New York at Buffalo North Campus.
Veritay provides a unique set of technical capabilities developed from years of experience in Defense related activities, including:
- Experimental, analytical, and production capabilities in the area of interior ballistics and ammunition development.
- Live-fire gun testing in our three enclosed firing ranges
- Consolidated propellant charge production for various Army, Navy and Air Force contracts
- Fortran programming for special interior ballistic analyses
- High-volume bio-aerosol collector for use in defense of biological attacks
We also provide design and fabrication capabilities, including:
- State of the art CAD and solid modeling software (SolidWorks)
- FEA software (COSMOS/M)
- On-site machine shop
Veritay’s electronics division is an outgrowth of our defense work, and has gone on to design and manufacture temperature controller products that are currently in equipment being sold to commercial food retailers.
