Retrofitted Blast Chiller
Veritay Technology, Inc. has developed a control system retrofitted for the operation of a blast chiller, which quickly cools or freezes food prepared in a restaurant. Our task was to replace the existing control system with a system that contained features the old unit could not provide. The appearance of the product remained unchanged, with the stock overlay with integral printer still incorporated. The controller handles the operation of a refrigeration compressor, defrost heater, and the unit fan. Operating cycles are set up through the use of a mode button that changes a LED indicator representing the particular mode when depressed. Feedback is also available from the four digit LED segmented display, which is utilized when other system parameters are set. Additional features include:
